木川，独立出版人、摄影师、艺术家。其作品常取材于生活，善于从朴素的事物中挖掘内在的生命。他坚持作品应当是出于内心的感受，如果只注重形式和装饰，那么形体只是空洞的躯壳。他反对过度装饰下的空虚，外在的服装与环境只能表达某一时期和空间的语言，只有脱去伪装才会有真挚的表达。通过电影、摄影、写作、行为、装置等艺术表达方式，他探索着关于自由的精神追求，倡导对同志群体的关注和保护。当摄影无法表达他的感受时，通过无声的文字，他寻找着能感同他感受的人。
