　　在過去的幾年中裡應外合，我走過了五大洲60多個國家。驅使我走上旅途的只是源自童年的夢想，完全沒有任何寫作的計畫，但是當我真正看到了這世界上最現代化和最古老、最文明和最野蠻、最繁華和最荒涼的場面；看到大自然那雄渾壯闊、無與倫比的美景；那震撼人心的古代人類文明；世界不同文明和種族的奪目光彩；貧窮國家中人們淳樸可親、淡泊自如的生活……。為了要和世人共享自己對這些不平凡經歷的強烈衝動，我開始了創作。

　　如果有人能從我的文字和圖片中，看到一個和你的想像有些不同的現實世界，開闊了一點眼界，對人生有一點新的看法，引發一絲深埋在內心的激情，或者學到一點自助旅行的經驗，那將是我最大的快樂。

　　本書以圖文並茂的方式，將我在旅行中不平凡的經歷，栩栩如生地紀錄下來，讓讀者將閱讀本書變為一種享受，透過它來洗盡人生的鉛華。
