宗璞，著名哲學家馮友蘭之女，畢業於清華大學外文系，退休於中國社會科學院外國文學研究所。既承中國傳統文化的深厚淵源，又得外國文化長期耳濡目染，她的作品蘊含著東方傳統哲學文化和西方人文主義思想相結合的精神內涵，具有獨特的藝術氣質和高雅格調。
