本文為第一人稱作品，也是作者真實遭遇。天蠍男與雙子女在星座書裡為死對頭，為永遠不可能在一起的星座配對，但在偶然機緣下，天蠍男卻在錯誤的時間、錯誤的地點，遇上雙子女，造成兩段錯誤的追求史，雖然這兩種人在理念上會互相吸引，但在個性中會互相排斥。

本作分為前、後章，前章是在國外出差時，在飛機上邂逅了第一位雙子女，整個追求過程非常悲憤。後章是在十年後，任職的公司裡，遇到第二位雙子女，雖一開始被吸引，但後來才再度瞭解天蠍男的完全剋星是雙子女。

本作除了敘述天蠍男在追求雙子女的過程中，所產生又愛又恨的矛盾心態外，同時，也加入了天蠍男對於星座的分析，並利用天蠍男攻心為上的本能，一步步計劃如何追雙子女，並踢到大鐵板的過程。
