2019年出版首部作品時住在台北市松山區並希望水能帶財，所以有了淞山這個筆名。

淞山是在台灣出生長大的男男小說作家，寫作題材多元廣泛，包括社會寫實，深刻情感，青春校園，軍警凌虐，熟父熟男，歷史與古代等等，並仍持續努力拓展男男小說的範疇，希望寫出更多具有同志觀點的故事。
