恆久恆久以前到恆久恆久以後，我們的神他不改變，我們特別用了“恆久”取代“很久”，因為神是永恆的神，在他沒有轉動的影兒。

在寫這首歌時，我們也想到了西面和亞拿，雖然在聖經中敘述的篇幅不多，但兩位老者一生等待持守與追尋，終於在年邁之時，在聖殿中遇見了Baby JESUS，這也應該是我們所盼望的，這位君王確實為了我們降臨。
今年聖誕節，讓我們用這首新歌恆久恆久以前，一起敬拜讚美愛我們的主耶穌！
