出類拔萃人物訪談-03農業外交─謝順景訪談錄：謝順景，本著「種瓜得瓜」、「不全力投入就不會有收穫」的人生哲學，投入農學研究暨國際合作事宜。1951年自臺灣省立農學院畢業後，分發入臺灣省農業試驗所服務，以水稻遺傳及育種為研究領域。之後，服膺恩師岡彥一之教誨，多次赴美、日等國研究，奠定其國際化的基礎。1970年獲選為聯合國國際原子能總署高級官員；兩年後，轉任直屬Seibersdorf研究所研究員。1972年返國後，先後擔任中興大學教授、臺灣省農業試驗所研究員兼農藝系主任、臺中區改良場場長等職，兼具研究和推廣工作，尤以有機農業的推廣最為成功。1993年起，歷任外交部海外會執行秘書、國合會副秘書長及顧問等職，先後赴非洲、中南美洲、南太平洋島國，以及亞太地區進行農技合作之規劃事宜，為臺灣的農業外交開拓出一片新天地。
