當初我們決定要居家生產，開始找資源的時卻發現，中部地區（2019年初）有在執業的助產所只有兩間，助產師也不多。在網路上找不到有樂得兒LDR產房的醫院，幾乎沒有還在支持溫柔生產的醫院或醫師的資訊，當時真心懷疑中部地區的相關資源怎麼會這麼少？還是我沒找到？

麻糬出生後，拿著他的出生證明去報戶口。戶政事務所的人員們也不知道居家生產的小朋友要怎樣填寫出生地，折騰了好一陣子才搞定，他們說這是第一次登記居家生產的戶口。看來在中部地區，居家生產的資源真的不多。

後來和喵喵決定要一起寫這本書，一方面是想要趁記憶猶新時留下紀錄，以後回頭看這段經歷一定會很有趣。另一方面是希望和大家分享這些經驗，讓未來的準爸爸媽媽們可以多一些準備和信心，愉快的體驗這段難忘的日子。
