　　本書主編張憲文先生現任南京大學資深教授、教育部重點科研基地中華民國史研究中心名譽主任、南京大屠殺史研究所所長、博士生導師。同時擔任中國現代史學會名譽會長、中國近現代史史料學學會名譽會長、南京歷史學會名譽會長等職務。主要研究領域為中國近現代史、中華民國史、抗日戰爭與南京大屠殺史。曾承擔國家社科、教育部、國際合作及兩岸合作等重點項目、重大項目。出版著作10餘種，發表論文百餘篇。獲教育部及江蘇省多項科研成果一等獎、獲中國及江蘇省各類獎項多種。
