《炭矿夫》是龚冰庐创作的短篇小说集，收录了《炭矿夫》《裁判》《矿山祭》等具有代表性的作品。《炭矿夫》是一部较早反映煤矿工人罢工斗争的作品，作者将目光聚焦在一个家庭上，以小见大，通过这个家庭三代人的遭遇，揭露现实问题，直击社会弊端，这个家庭子承父业，在煤矿上谋生，老父亲是煤矿大罢工的组织者，在运动失败后被枪杀，家中的孙子才八岁，就要面对苦难的人生，到煤矿上当童工，群情激奋的工人们再次发动罢工并炸毁了矿区。
龚冰庐，笔名影樱，作家，创造社成员，中国左翼作家联盟发起人之一，江苏崇明（今上海市）人。龚冰庐在左翼文学阵营中颇有声望，积极投身创造社倡导的文学活动，曾在《创造月刊》《艺术月刊》《大众文艺》等刊物上发表多篇作品。主要作品有《炭矿夫》《有什么好对人家说》《换上新的》《他们都迷失了路》《劳动组织》《废坑》《五月一日》。
