《圓覺經》全稱叫《大方廣圓覺修多羅了義經》。「大方廣」是大乘佛經的通名，也叫「大方等」或者「大平等」。「方」指義理方正，「廣」指宗義廣大。
以前有不少佛經都是以「大方廣」來命名，後世整理的時候，為了方便分別，給不少佛經改了名，便刪去了「大方廣」三個字。
「圓覺」即圓滿覺悟，「修多羅」譯為契經；「了義」是究竟之意，現今的說法便是終極；與其相對的是「不了義」，不夠究竟。所以《大方廣圓覺修多羅了義經》就是指向圓滿覺悟的終極理論書。
《圓覺經》的正文分十二章，每一章都由一名菩薩向佛提問，佛再回答的方式書寫，立意分明，言簡意賅。從提問的內容中看，這十二位菩薩都是等覺菩薩，是離佛就差一步的大修行者，也叫一生補處。

TaiGuangLin禪師，於2014年，首度在百度貼吧發文，用親身經歷搭配實修實證，提供了一套從初學者修到四禪的方法，同時回答了很多關於修行方面的問題，很快就吸引了眾多追隨者。發文內容被眾人整理成《坐禪1》與《坐禪之問答錄》兩本書。2024年，復出傳法，講述了佛陀未曾講明的宇宙真相以及佛法背後的原理。書中講述了很多只有「再來人」才有辦法講出的內容，並親自參與書籍編輯，最終完成《坐禪2》，同時闡述了發大菩提心的重要性。
