《画禅室随笔》，中国明代书法、绘画理论著作，董其昌著。《画禅室随笔》共分十五门：论用笔、评书法、跋自书、评古帖、画诀、画源、题自画、评旧画、评诗、评文、纪事、纪游、杂言、楚中随笔、禅说。《四库全书》著录谓：“其昌于斯事，积毕生之力为之。”
（明）董其昌（1555—1636）：字玄宰，号思白、香光居士，华亭（今上海松江）人。万历十七年进士，官至南京礼部尚书。他是明代书画界的领袖人物，书法出入晋唐，自成 “华亭派”，与邢侗、张瑞图、米万钟并称 “晚明四家”；绘画上倡导 “南北宗” 论，将山水画分为 “南宗”（文人画）和 “北宗”（院体画），影响明清画坛数百年。其书画作品风格清润秀逸，代表作有《岩居图》《秋兴八景图》《昼锦堂记》等。还著有《画禅室随笔》《容台集》等，内容涉及书画理论、题跋、诗文，是研究其艺术思想的重要文献。他的艺术主张和创作实践，对后世书画发展意义深远。
