相聲怪傑馮翊綱的創意主張，不正統地混合西方形式與東方精神，拼貼幽默對話與角色語言。

本書收錄《緋蝶》及《下次手冊》兩劇本。
《緋蝶》的首演，是2015年元旦，在新光三越台北站前店的十二樓。隱身在藍天綠地花園裡的一隻紅色蝴蝶，是「緋蝶」劇名的由來，劇名的諧音讓人對故事充滿聯想。
《下次手冊》並未以這個劇名及形式演出，當時創作，馮翊綱同步規劃成兩個分身，以荒謬劇場情境呈現的《下次手冊》，因個人偏愛，故出版時以這個樣貌問世。另一個分身即是五段相聲形式的《情聖阿弱》，2013年10月4日在台北「新舞臺」首演。

五十歲生日那天，在點心舖裡咬到一顆好吃的酒漬杏桃，
興奮地與妻分享，萬不料妻一口囫圇吞去，
急得他不顧旁人側目，哎哎狂喊！
妻即時吐回半顆，他也破涕，欣然分食。

生活裡，就是這樣一個真性情的人。

工作上，是演員、導演、劇作家、演說家、大學教授。
【相聲瓦舍】創辦人。
演了一千多場戲，寫了十幾本書，錄了幾十片影音光碟。
交了幾個夠義氣的朋友，得了幾座有面子的獎。
