《幼学琼林》是中国古代儿童的启蒙读物。书中汇集了中国古代的著名人物、天文地理、典章制度、风俗礼仪、生老病死、婚丧嫁娶、鸟兽花木、朝廷文武、饮食器用、宫室珍宝、文事科第、释道鬼神等诸多方面的内容。“三百千”，即《三字经》《百家姓》《千字文》的俗称，是三部影响大而流行广的启蒙读物。“三百千”将早期的识字教育与中国的历史文化以及人格修养的教育巧妙地融合在了一起。言辞简练，含义丰富，便于诵读。《声律启蒙》是训练儿童应对、掌握声韵格律的启蒙读物，声韵协调，朗朗上口。《弟子规》列述了弟子在家、出外、待人、接物与学习上应该恪守的守则规范。
程登吉，字允升，明末西昌（今江西新建）人，为《幼学琼林》的编撰者，其《幼学琼林》是中国古代的儿童启蒙读物。
