〈普賢行願品〉、在八十卷《華嚴》中，名〈入法界品〉，因為八十《華嚴》文來未盡，從普賢菩薩說偈讚佛以後的文字，都缺略了。這一卷經，在《華嚴》全經之末。這一卷經，既是《華嚴》的歸根結穴，而同時又極力提倡淨土，所以這部〈行願品〉，就成了勸人修往生極樂世界的淨土經了，從前大法師編淨土四經，就把〈行願品〉加在裡頭的。先師印光老法師編的淨土五經，也把〈行願品〉加在裡頭的。所以修淨土的居士，更加喜歡用功〈行願品〉了。

黃智海（1875年－1961年），本名慶瀾，字涵之，法名智海，為前清貢生，曾任湖北德安、宜昌知府。曾留學日本，歸國後創辦上海南華書局、上海三育中小學、上海法政學校。曾任上海火藥局局長、上海高級審判廳廳長、浙江溫州甌海道道尹，一度兼任兼任甌海海關總督、寧波會稽道道尹、上海特別市公益局局長。1929年與印光大師等在上海成立弘化社。黃智海曾獲得大總統特獎、八次各級嘉禾獎章。
