渡邊淳一（1933－2014）日本著名文學大師、國民作家。1933年出生於北海道。畢業於札幌醫科大學，一度曾任骨科醫生，後棄醫從文，從事專業文學創作。以小說《光和影》獲直木文學獎，以《遙遠的落日》獲吉川英治文學獎。2003年獲日本政府“紫綬褒章獎”。2014年4月30日，渡邊淳一因癌症逝世，享年80歲。一生共發表131多部作品，代表作為《失樂園》。其中描寫的不倫性愛，引發巨大反響，並相繼被拍成電視連續劇和電影，在日本掀起了“失樂園”熱。其他代表作包括將現代情愛觀融入日本古典美的《化妝》，“愛與性”的主題的
