石頭將軍：吳起
時間是西元前4世紀的中國，正是戰亂迭起、諸國相互征伐的「戰國時代」，位處齊、魏兩大強國之間的衛國，誕生了一位天才軍事家。他，就是吳起。
吳起善於帶兵，處處以身作則，與部下同甘共苦，曾不惜紆尊降貴，親自用嘴巴為受傷的士卒吸出背上的膿瘡，換得了下屬的死命效力，並在魯、魏、楚等國，獲得了全面的勝利。偉大的史學家司馬遷便稱讚吳起在軍事上與「兵聖」孫子一樣，是個講信用、又廉能，而且具備仁德與勇氣的人。但是，吳起為達目的不顧一切的固執個性，甚至讓他做出殺害自己妻子、母親過世也不返國奔喪的事情。從此師門容不下他，他到哪裡都四面樹敵，最後甚至落得萬箭穿心的下場。
我們該如何評價這位爭議性十足的歷史人物呢？
胡其瑞
筆名「出谷司馬」，政大歷史系碩士，現任中央研究院歷史語言研究所研究助理。偶爾喜歡在部落格裡寫寫散文，發發牢騷；偶爾喜歡投投稿，然後因為文章被刊登而高興十天半個月。曾發表〈餓的話，每日熬一鷹〉、〈兵變俱樂部〉、〈我的情報局鄰居們〉、〈兩個女人的戰爭〉以及〈我的DIY老爹〉等散文。著作有《運籌帷幄，決勝千里：張良》、《舌燦蓮花定天下：張儀》等。
