《宇宙奧狄賽》接合了復古科幻特有的蒼青光暈。在星際歌劇的格式之內，居住著後人類政治、神話重啟、邪典物語、幻異征戰。從幾位超異能者的浪遊到諸宇宙的神格博弈，這套作品夾帶Tanith Lee在《平面世界》的魔界君王詭譎慾望美學，亦揉雜《光之王》（Lord of Light）這類型的魔幻科技敘述，實驗六道輪迴的門道與機關，祭出以星辰為棋子的永恆棋局。

《宇宙奧狄賽》為科幻作家洪凌早期的異彩之作，因著此次電子書的出版，由作者親自修訂舊作，並撰作新的外傳故事。

香港中文大學文化研究博士，世新大學性別研究所副教授。已出版論述集《魔鬼筆記》、《酷異劄記》、《光幻諸次元註釋本》等；短篇小說集《肢解異獸》、《異端吸血鬼列傳》、《銀河滅》、《黑太陽賦格》（已有日文譯本）等；長篇小說《末日玫瑰雨》、《不見天日的向日葵》、【宇宙奧狄賽】系列六冊、《混沌輪舞》等。學術論文散見《文化研究》、《應用倫理評論》、《中外文學》、《台灣社會研究季刊》、《思想》、Reconstruction: A Journal of Contemporary Culture等。研究領域：科幻小說，旁若文學，左翼文化評論，巴勒斯坦、酷兒理論、性與國族，跨物種政治。
